Learn to meditate
Himalayan Mantra Meditation
Himalayan Mantra Meditation is a mantra-based technique enhanced with breathwork and kriya to generate a calm and clear mind, focused attention, and a deep state of peaceful silence. We practice this seated technique twice a day, for 20-30 minutes.
What if meditation didn’t have to be hard?
Meditation is only hard when you don’t have a technique or a teacher. While it does require discipline, Himalayan Mantra Meditation is incredibly simple and powerful.
The benefits
-
Himalayan Mantra Meditation helps to release the stress that is rooted in our nervous system by inducing a deeply restful state. It teaches our brain to favor positive and evolutionary thoughts, instead of negative and cyclical ones.
-
In our modern lifestyles, everything is constantly competing for attention. As a result, our attention spans are often out of our control. This technique teaches you how to harness your attention and energy. Our attention is our superpower—whatever we place our attention on grows.
-
Did you know that your baseline state is one of peace and silence? It may be hard to connect to if your mind is busy and loud. This technique teaches you transcendence, the ability to move beyond the mind and into a place of silence. You will discover true peace and quiet through this technique.
-
Studies have shown that meditation can actually change our brain:
It increases the volume of gray matter in the brain, which supports memory and decision making.
Meditation can lower the activation of our amygdala, the center that is associated with fear and fight-or-flight.
Mantra meditation specifically is associated with significantly reduced anxiety levels.
Mantra meditation significantly increases blood flow to the parts of the brain associated with attention and decision making.
Mantra meditation improves connectivity between cerebral areas that help modulate emotions and inner states.
-
Through the activation of our brain, Himalayan Mantra Meditation helps increase the flow of creativity. Studies have shown that mantra-meditators score higher in figurative flexibility and originality (factors of creativity).

my personal practice
I have been practicing this technique for 8 years…
And I was initiated to teach Himalayan Mantra Meditation by Anand Mehrotra, at Sattva Yoga Academy in Rishikesh, India. I have been in love with this practice for years, and my life was completely transformed because of it. This meditation practice has touched every area of my life—relationship, money, spirituality, self-love, career, and beyond—and made it better. In a world that is overstimulating, loud, and vying for our attention, I cannot think of a more important daily ritual than meditation. It is my greatest honor to be able to share this practice with you.
